ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor on Saturday.
The Kartarpur Corridor will be inaugurated on the 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev beginning on 12th November.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, as a mark of utmost facilitation, has waived off the condition of passport and the fee for pilgrims, who are visiting Pakistan, on the day of the inauguration of the corridor and Guru birthday.
For the floors of the shrine, that are wide-spread on approximately 10 acres, imported marble has been used.
The shrine will be receiving electricity from Shakar Garh grid station, added sources. To ensure proper security, CCTV cameras have also been installed across the shrine.
