ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the Green Line bus service today.
According to details, the prime minister will arrive in Karachi today to inaugurate the Green Line bus service. : Former finance minister Asad Umar said that the prime minister will inaugurate the trial operation of Green Line Bus Service today.
Asad Umar said that the people of Karachi will get cheap travel facilities. The trial of the Green Line bus service will be for 14 days. Commercial operation of buses will be started in Karachi from 25th December. The full commercial operation will start from 10th January next year.

The minimum fare for the latest Green Line bus service in Karachi is likely to be fixed at Rs 15 while the maximum is likely to be fixed at Rs 55. The 80 modern buses will be able to carry 150,000 people daily. The length of each bus will be 18 meters.
Under the Green Line bus service, a cockpit cabin has been constructed for the driver inside the bus. Fully air-conditioned buses have a separate area for the disabled. Passengers will also be able to use Wi-Fi and a mobile charging port during the journey.
