ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to chair the federal cabinet meeting today to discuss the 15-point agenda.
During the session, discussions over the current political and economic situation of the country will be held. The cabinet is likely to approve the decisions of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).
The appointment of a senior member in the Federal Land Commission is on the cards and the appointment of the CEO of First Women Bank will also be discussed during the meeting.
Imran Khan will be briefed by the federal cabinet for the appointment of Chairperson National Commission for Human Rights and its members.
A briefing will be given to the prime minister over the vacant position of chief executive officers and managing directors in different ministries.

Earlier on Monday, the prime minister chaired a meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) in which he said that all provinces would be given their fair share.
He underscored that all of the provinces Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Punjab would be given their fair share of the money.
An earlier session of the CCI meeting scheduled for December 11 was postponed owing to the excess agenda shared by Sindh.
