ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair the federal cabinet meeting today to discuss a 10-point agenda today.
During the meeting, the cabinet meeting will consider political, economic, and security issues of the country while the federal cabinet will also be briefed on the two-year performance of the government. The cabinet will approve the export of surgical and N-95 masks and will also give a briefing on the appointments of members to parliamentary commissions, authorities, and boards.
The federal cabinet will approve the implementation of the Mandatory Service Act on PTV employees. Earlier, the prime minister had said as the overseas Pakistanis were an asset of Pakistan, so facilitating them to send their remittances back to the country had been the priority of the government.
PM Imran Khan also expressed his satisfaction over a visible increase in the volume of remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis during the month of July.
