ISLAMABAD: The second meeting of the National Nutrition Coordination Council (PNNCC) Council chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held today.
According to sources in the Ministry of Health, the meeting will be attended by Federal Ministers Fakhrumam, Asad Umar, Shafqat Mahmood, Fehmida Mirza, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and provincial chiefs.

Sources said that the United Nations Regional Coordinator Julian Frederick will also attend the meeting.
The meeting will consider the nutrition situation in the country, challenges, and government initiatives while Sania Nishtar and Dr. Basir Achakzai will brief the council on the nutrition situation.
According to sources, international organizations will give a briefing on ongoing nutrition projects in Pakistan. The meeting will also explain strategies for overcoming malnutrition.
