ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce an “Emergency Cash” initiative under the flagship Ehsaas programme which will help poor people earn a living during their fight against the Coronavirus.
Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety to the prime minister Dr. Sania Nishtar made the announcement on social media site Twitter regarding the financial stimulua package related to the Covid19 disease.
“We have extensively worked to structure an appropriate and responsive “Ehsaas Emergency (Covid19-related) Cash” initiative for these difficult times. This extensive package was approved today & will be announced by the Prime Minister tomorrow. I will outline details subsequently.”

Dr. Sania Nishtar said that Prime Minister Imran Khan would announce the program today which has already been approved. The government is considering announcing a massive economic and financial stimulus package to offset the effects of the coronavirus.
