ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif left the federal capital for Karachi on a one-day visit.
The prime minister will attend the textile expo in Karachi as the chief guest where he will also address the event. Apart from the meeting with Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori, the prime minister will also meet the delegation of investors and listen to their suggestions regarding the upcoming budget.
During the visit, PM Shehbaz Sharif will also lay the foundation stone of the Greater Karachi Water Supply Scheme (K-4). It should be noted that Trade Development Authority’s 3-day textile exhibition Texpo 2023 is starting today in Karachi. More than 300 exhibitors, leading designers, and experts will participate in Texpo.

The exhibition will showcase the Pakistani textile and leather industry. Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, China, Japan, Colombia, and Egypt will participate in TEXPO. Buyers from France, Germany, Iran, and 48 non-traditional markets will participate in Texpo.
Tedop CEO Zubair Motiwala in this regard said in a statement, “I thank all the delegates participating in TEXPO, this exhibition will highlight the potential of the Pakistani textile and leadership sector.”
He further informed us that fashion shows will also be held on the last two days of Texpo 2023. On the first day of the exhibition, a cultural show will be held at Governor House Karachi. CEO TDAP Zubair Motiwala also said that Texpo 2023 will be an exciting exhibition and fair for sustainable fashion and textiles.
