CAIRO: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left here for London after completing his two days tour of Egypt where he attended Climate Implementation Summit, COP-27. His visit came in the backdrop of current developments back in Pakistan.
Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb tweeted that the nature of Shehbaz Sharif’s visit was private.

Reports from multiple sources suggest Shehbaz Sharif, during his stay in London, would try to develop consensus vis-a-vis key issues in Pakistan, including Long March and a high-profile appointment due this month.

Some experts privy to the developments in Islamabad claimed that the Shehbaz government has been given one week time by ‘powerful quarters’ to reach conclusions on some key pending issues, which included ways and means to end current political impasse, and a way forward for achieving goals of economic stability and progress.
