ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Quetta today on a one-day visit to Balochistan.
The prime minister will hold meetings with the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan. He will be briefed on the current security situation in Balochistan.
According to sources, Federal Communications Minister Murad Saeed and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz will accompany the prime minister on his visit to Balochistan.

The sources further said that the prime minister will inaugurate the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor road. He will also announce a development package for Balochistan during his visit.
During his stay in Quetta, PM Imran Khan will also meet members of the Provincial Assembly and senior leaders of his party. The prime minister will be briefed on the current security situation in the province and the progress of ongoing development projects in Balochistan.
