LAHORE: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the current and former members of the Assembly to go to their constituencies and inform the people about the real reasons for inflation.
According to the details, members of the National Assembly and former members of the Punjab Assembly met PM Shehbaz Sharif in the past few days, the inside story of which has come to light. Those who met included Rahila Khadim Hussain, Anizeh Fatima, and Rana Mashhood.
The prime minister was also met by Rao Ajmal, Abid Raza, and other members. It has been said in some media reports that the League members told the Prime Minister about the sentiments of the people regarding inflation in their respective constituencies.

The members said that people are very worried about the country’s poor economy, unemployment, and inflation. When elections are held, people will not vote for PML due to inflation. The Prime Minister said that he is aware of the wave of inflation.
Speaking during the meeting, the Prime Minister said, “I am unable to understand what to do in the economic situation. The situation is very bad,” he said by adding, “Imran Khan is forced to suffer the mistakes of the government. There is no choice but to accept the painful conditions of the IMF.”
He said that after the agreement with the IMF, they will try to provide some immediate relief to the people. He directed all the members to put the real reasons for inflation before the public in their respective constituencies.
