ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has increased the compensation package of martyred policemen in Islamabad.Â
The prime minister in this regard issued a formal notification in which the compensation package of policemen who lost their lives in the line of duty in Islamabad Police has been raised at part with Punjab Police.
IG Islamabad Mohammad Amir Zulfiqar Khan formally requested the Prime Minister to provide the package of the martyrs of Islamabad police similar to Punjab.
He said that after the approval of the martyrdom package by the Prime Minister, the morale of Islamabad police officers and men would be higher.
Applauding the prime minister’s move, IG Islamabad said that the police officers and the youth would perform their duties with more spirit.
