ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) is the most-watched video on the UN’s official Youtube channel.
The prime minister had virtually addressed the 75th session of the UNGA on September 25. The video was uploaded on the video-sharing platform
The speech delivered at the UNGA has been declared as the most viewed speech of the UNGA session. More than 169,000 viewers have seen PM Imran Khan’s speech so far, which is the highest than any other global leader.
US President Donald Trump is second on the list with 137,000 views. The next on the list is Indonesian President Widodo’s speech which was viewed 94,000 times.
Iran President Hassan Rouhani’s speech received 67,000 views, Indian Prime Minister Narender Modi got 62,000 views, Russsian President Vladimir Putin 59,000 views, and Chinese President Xi Jinping was seen by 44,000 people.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s speech secured only 8,000 views. It is to be mentioned here that as many as 26,00000 people had watched PM Imran Khan’s UNGA speech last year.
