ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran will arrive in Karachi tomorrow (Tuesday) to attend the ceremony of multinational maritime exercise Aman-2021.
According to details, the Prime Minister will also meet with Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and PTI Sindh chapter leadership during the day-long visit. Matters pertaining to upcoming Senate elections and other political issues would be discussed in the meeting.
PM Imran had also given an important task to Governor Sindh in view of the Senate polls after an in-depth discussion over the political developments in Islamabad last month.
It is worth mentioning here that the PTI had approached its coalition partners in the federal government for a joint strategy against the incumbent Sindh government-led by the PPP- in Senate elections and by-polls.
Earlier today (Monday), the Prime Minister called an emergency meeting of the PTI parliamentary board after party workers raised voice over the distribution of tickets in the Senate elections.
PTI’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter raised objections over the nomination of Najibullah Khattak, while PTI Sindh said they had a problem with the selection of Faisal Vawda and Saifullah Abro.
