ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a meeting of party leaders and spokespersons today during which the political situation in the country will be considered.
The prime minister will consult with spokespersons and party leaders on the current political scenario and the overall situation in the country. Other important issues, including the anti-government PDM movement, will be discussed during a meeting of party spokespersons and leaders chaired by PM Imran Khan.
In response to the PDM’s anti-government propaganda, party spokespersons will be briefed in detail on the government’s achievements in the economic field. During the meeting, it will be discussed how to improve the PTI’s party statement and an official statement against the Opposition alliance will be released.

It may be recalled that the prime minister convened a meeting of the federal cabinet in Islamabad tomorrow. The seven-point agenda will be considered in the meeting. During the meeting, the political and economic situation of the country will also be discussed.
Sources said that the resignations and long march announcements by the opposition parties would also be considered in the meeting of the federal cabinet and a plan of action would be worked out to avoid political instability in the country.
