ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has decided to establish the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund to support the earthquake victims of fraternal country Turkiye in this hour of difficulty.

This was disclosed by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb in a post on Twitter on Tuesday.
وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے برادر ملک ترکیہ کے زلزلہ متاثرین کی مشکل گھڑی میں معاونت کے لئے وزیراعظم ریلیف فنڈ قائم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ کابینہ نے 1 ماہ کی تنخواہ امدادی فنڈ میں دینے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے مخیرحضرات کو برادر ملک ترکیہ کی فراخ دلانہ مدد کی اپیل کی ہے

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the cabinet has announced to donate one month salary to the relief fund.

She said the PM has also appealed to the philanthropists to generously support the earthquake victims in Turkiye.
It may be added here PM Shehbaz Sharif is set to leave for Ankara tomorrow to offer condolences over the losses of precious lives as a result of deadly quakes that have claimed nearly 5000 lives in Türkiye and Syria.
