ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has reportedly decided to meet the leadership of the coalition parties before presenting the mini-budget.
According to details, the prime minister is active today for the approval of the mini-budget. PM Imran Khan decided to take the leaders of the coalition parties into confidence. Parliamentary leaders of the coalition parties will be briefed on the Budget Finance Bill.
Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin will give a briefing on the Finance Bill during the meeting. Parliamentary leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), PML-Q, GDA, and BAP were invited to meet the prime minister.
It may be recalled that earlier, PM Imran Khan convened a meeting of the Federal Cabinet today during which the mini-budget will be approved. The prime minister has also convened a meeting of the PTI parliamentary party today.

Members of the Assembly will be briefed on the mini-budget in which petrol, mobile phones, stationery, and packaged food items are expected to become more expensive. Women’s make-up items will be more expensive. 350 billion tax breaks will be abolished.
