PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan has chaired a meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet today in ehich he stressed over-focusing on the promotion of tourism in the province.
KP Governor Shah Farman, Provincial Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, and Chief Minister Mahmood Khan were present in the meeting at the Governor House in Peshawar.
During the provincial cabinet, the prime minister said that the purpose of merging tribal districts in the province was to bring these areas equal to the developed parts of the country.
According to the prime minister, generating job possibilities for the youth in the merged areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was among the top priorities of the incumbent government.
Imran Khan stressed that the incumbent government has provided record funds for the newly-merged tribal districts (NMTDs), and it was a huge achievement to take the state’s process forward.
