LONDON: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in the United Kingdom to attend the State Funeral of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in London.
Special Representative of the British Foreign Secretary, David Gordon-MacLeod, received the Prime Minister at the airport.
Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb are accompanied the Prime Minister.
Later, the Prime Minister will head towards the United States to participate in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly beginning from the 20th of this month.

Early it was said in media reports that PM will leave for UK on Sunday. The reports also said that he will also meet PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and will also attend a high level party meeting in London.
The premier will reach the US on September 19 and depart for home on September 24 after a hectic five-day visit during which he will also hold meetings with the heads of the IMF and World Bank.
The Pakistani PM, who will be accompanied by key members of his federal cabinet during his visit, is scheduled to address the UNGA on September 23.
