ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to hike the prices of petroleum products.
According to sources, a summary of increase in prices of petroleum products has been submitted to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, under which a major increase in prices of petroleum products is expected soon.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan held consultations on raising the prices of petroleum products to a minimum. A final increase in the prices of petroleum products is expected shortly after the approval of the prime minister.
A summary of the rise in prices of petroleum products has been submitted to the prime minister. It has been proposed to increase the price of petrol up to Rs 13 per liter while the price of diesel is expected to increase by Rs 11 per liter.
A proposal to increase the price of kerosene by Rs 10.50 per liter is under consideration while Prime Minister’s House sources said that the prices of petroleum products are likely to increase by Rs 6 per liter.
