The year when Pakistani industry needs the support of people as this year despite the release of major local movies which failed to perform well at the box office.
There are few notable cinemas that have halted the advance booking of much-anticipated movie ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’.
According to a social media user, it’s disappointing to see three big national chains are not opening advance counters for the film. He tagged Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ammara Hikmat and Bilal Lashari.

After his tweet, many came up with reasons. A user noted that Wajahat Rauf and Yasir Nawaz have sued these exhibitors for destroying their films. Another user claimed that makers are forcing cinema chains to hike ticket prices for the first 11 days demanding Rs 900 to Rs 1000 for silver screen tickets and 2000-2500 for gold and platinum screen.
