RAWALPINDI: Minister for aviation, Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said the PDM parties have tried to spark conflict among the institutions by attempting to create uncertainty and unrest in the country.
Talking to the media after inaugurating development works at Chakri road today, the minister said that the PML-N was only misleading the masses and pursuing a narrative that had nothing to do with reality. “They have done nothing for the country, except pursuing anti-people policies,” he added.
The role of the Sharif family in promoting corruption in the country always remained prominent and today they were also using tactics to mislead the people, he said.
Ghulam Sarwar said that leaders of PDM were not on the same page and everyone had their own agenda which was not in the larger interest of the country.
The whole nation was well aware of the dirty or reprehensible politics of PDM leaders and the government was not worried about their so-called protest movement, he said adding that the opposition was preparing to contest the upcoming Senate polls and by-elections by misleading the people instead of resigning.
Sarwar said PM Imran will not be deterred by the opposition’s movement.” Our primary target is to rid Pakistan of these family parties,” he added. He also said the PML-N had deliberately ruined the country’s economy to create hurdles in the way of the government.
He said that PTI made promises of public service and we would go to the people on the basis of performance in the next general elections. Responding to a question, he said that the rise in inflation was artificial and steps were being taken to control it.
