LAHORE: Opposition party Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has convened a summit of the parties in the alliance.
According to the sources, the meeting convened under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman will be held at 2 pm today. The meeting will be attended by Chairman PP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, PML-N Central Vice President Maryam Nawaz, ANP’s Mian Iftikhar, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and Akhtar Mengal.

Yesterday, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari addressed the gathering in Lahore, at Minar-e-Pakistan where a long march to Islamabad, by late January or early February, was announced by the PDM. The event was hosted by the PML-N.
Even though the organisers of the rally had asked the attendees to reach the venue at 2 pm, hundreds of supports gathered there early on despite the cold weather, enthusiastically chanting slogans, carrying flags, and warming up the atmosphere.
