GUJRANWALA: The first meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Moment (PDM) will be held in Gujranwala today.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman finalized the plan with the leadership of PDM. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz and PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will arrive in Gujranwala with the convoys. Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will arrive at the venue with a rally from Lala Musa.
The meeting will begin at 3:00 pm and end at 12:00 pm. An 80 feet long 24 feet wide stage has been prepared for the leadership of PDM at Jinnah Stadium in Gujranwala. The stadium covers six acres and has a capacity of 35,000 people. Only pedestrians will be allowed to enter the hall.

According to CPO Gujranwala Sarfraz Falaki, the implementation of coronavirus SOPs will be ensured in all cases and strict action will be taken against those violating the law.
PDM leadership has been asked to ensure the implementation of SOPs during the meeting. No speech will be made in the meeting against the national security agencies and the constitution.
