LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah has said that the PDM meeting in Punjab’s capital will be a referendum against the government.
Rana Sanaullah while addressing a press conference said that the future of Pakistan is linked with democracy and constitution. The protest is our right and we are not taking any unconstitutional path, he maintained.
He said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will hold a rally on 13th December at the Minar-e-Pakistan ground. Rana Sanaullah said he hoped the government would not obstruct the Lahore meeting. Workers were tortured in Multan, but the government was absent when people took to the streets, he added.
He said that the PDM meeting would be a referendum against the government and if there was any crash or accident, the entire responsibility would fall on the government.
The PML-N leader said that we have been talking about transparent elections from day one. On the occasion, PPP leader Chaudhry Manzoor said that the Lahore rally would be more historic than other rallies while everyone knows what is happening in the country.
