LAHORE: Pakistan women’s cricketer Nida Dar has been appointed as the captain of the team.
Apart from this, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has reappointed Mark Coles as the head coach of the women’s team and Saleem Jaffer as the chief selector.
Last month, the captain of the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team, Bismah Maroof, announced her resignation from the leadership of the team, after which Chairman PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi approved the appointment of Nida Dar as the captain.

Najam Sethi said that Nida Dar is a talented player and will prove to be the best captain. On the other hand, Nida Dar said that it is an honor for me to captain the Pakistan Women’s team.
It should be noted that Nida Dar’s first visit as a captain will be to South Africa which is scheduled in the month of August this year.
