Passenger held with 6kg of heroin at Peshawar airport

PESHAWAR: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF), while carrying out an operation at the Bacha Khan International Airport in the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, recovered 6 kg of heroin from a passenger’s bag.

ANF recovered 6.50 kg of heroin from the trolley bag of the passenger. The accused was a resident of Sahiwal and was going to Malaysia by international flight.

Officials in this regard said that the accused has been arrested and a case has been registered under the Anti-Narcotics Act. Earlier, ANF had seized 36 kg of hashish and 26 kg of 400 grams of opium from a vehicle at Kala Shah Kaku Interchange while conducting operations in Lahore and arrested the accused.
