ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani will leave for China today to participate in the third Himalayan Forum.
According to the details, the caretaker foreign minister is leaving for a visit to China from today, where he will participate in the third Himalayan Forum and meet with world leaders.
In the third Himalayan Forum, the caretaker foreign minister is expected to meet with the foreign ministers of China, Afghanistan, and other countries in which economic and foreign affairs including bilateral relations and cooperation will be discussed.
On the sidelines of the Himalaya Forum, Jalil Abbas Jilani is also expected to meet with the Afghan Foreign Minister during which discussions are expected on Pak-Afghan relations, cross-border terrorism, and the security situation.
During the visit to China, Jalil Abbas Jilani will discuss the country’s economy and other important issues. After participating in the 3rd Himalayan Forum, the Foreign Minister will leave for a visit to Azerbaijan.
In Azerbaijan, Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani will participate in the ministerial meeting of the Economic Cooperation Organization. It is expected that this visit will be of importance regarding the economic situation of Pakistan.
