Pakistan’s Shahid Aftab and Muhammad Asif, have made it to the quarterfinals of the ACBS Asian Men’s Snooker Championship 2025 after delivering stellar performances in the pre-quarterfinals.
Shahid Aftab, the reigning National Champion, showcased his exceptional form by defeating Singapore’s Sunny Wang 4-1 in Round 22. The frame scores were (38-59, 66-22, 77(77)-0, 91(91)-7, 68-43). Shahid continued his dominance in the pre-quarterfinals, overcoming China’s Zhou Jinhao 4-1 in a thrilling match with frame scores of (59-54, 63-30, 99(71)-1, 6-65, 62-38).

However, Mohammad Sajjad faced a setback as he was eliminated by Iran’s Amir Sarkosh with a 4-1 defeat. Sarkosh controlled the match with frame scores of (78-14, 83(62)-32, 8-96(96), 75(75)-1, 73(52)-0).
On the other hand, Muhammad Asif, the tournament favorite, triumphed over South Korea’s Youngjun Park in a nail-biting 4-3 contest.
