Pakistani tourists visiting the UAE have been advised to purchase return tickets from the same airline to avoid complications with additional approvals.
Earlier, Pakistan has urged its citizens to comply with all visit visa requirements, which include providing proof of accommodation, sufficient funds (either in cash or credit cards), and a return air ticket. Failure to meet these conditions may result in passengers being denied boarding.
It’s important to note that over 1.7 million Pakistanis currently reside in the UAE, and millions more travel to the country annually for tourism and job opportunities.
SereneAir, a private Pakistani airline, stated, “For a smoother process, we recommend buying return tickets with SereneAir. Return tickets from other airlines may require extra approvals during check-in.” Similarly, another private airline, Airblue, informed passengers that those traveling on a tourist visa with a return ticket from a different airline would need Airblue to obtain approval from UAE authorities before issuing the boarding pass.

Fly Jinnah, which operates flights between Pakistan and the UAE, added: “Passengers must have a valid return ticket within the visa period, confirmed hotel bookings or an accommodation address with a contact number, and at least $500 (Dh1,835) in cash or a credit card in their name to cover their stay. Passengers who fail to meet these requirements will be denied boarding at the airport.”
