Pakistani TikTok star Minahil Malik, popular social media figure known for her dance videos, has become one of the top searches in India following a recent controversy involving her private leaked video.
Malik, who has a massive fan-base on both TikTok and Instagram, has surprisingly garnered attention in neighboring India, even though TikTok is banned here.
After the leak of a private video allegedly showing private moments between her and her boyfriend, Google searches for Malik’s name surged by 100 times in Indian states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, with other regions such as Chandigarh, West Bengal, and Jammu and Kashmir seeing a 75% increase.

However, some people believe the incident was a publicity stunt, though Malik herself addressed the issue by deactivating her Instagram account.
In her farewell post on Instagram, Malik expressed the emotional difficulty of her decision: “It was not easy for me, but I’m done. It’s hard to say goodbye. No fights. Spread love. I’m leaving. I will miss you. I love you. Take care.” Since then, she has remained inactive on the platform.
