DARFUR: The UN-African Union Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) said the Pakistani peacekeepers won hearts by providing goats, scotch carts, food and other items to the women and children in Darfur.
The official news agency of United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur took to social media and said, “United Nations Military Adviser Lt General Carlos Humberto Loitey distributes goats, scotch carts, blankets and quilts to the local women in Kabkabiya, North Darfur. The project was implemented by UN-African Union Mission (UNAMID) Pakistani peacekeepers based in the area.”
