Pakistani mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters defeated all five of their Indian archrivals at the Brave CF 92 event in Isa Town, Bahrain.
The co-main event match was between Rizwan Ali (Pakistan) and Srikant Sekhar (India), with the former defeating the latter by knockout within the first round.
Rizwan would later declare the victory a “win for Pakistan”, stating that his win proved that Pakistani fighters were “second to none” on the global scale.
The momentum continued as Babar Ali secured his eighth career win by defeating Indian Mohammad Farhad in the bantamweight category. Meanwhile, Ismail Khan triumphed over Yadvinder Singh in another bantamweight clash
In the welterweight, Abbas Khan outclassed Seth Rosario.
Completing the five-math win at the Brave CF 92, Pakistani Awan Aqib delivered a huge blow to his Indian flyweight counterpart, Ehtesham Ansari.
The president of the Pakistan MMA Federation, Omar Ahmed, congratulated the fighters and stated that they had made the nation proud.
The Brave CF 92 event took place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain. It featured ten professional MMA matches.
In the main event, Mohammad Fakhreddin faced Abdel Rahman Driai. The former defeated the latter by TKO in the second match.
Omar Solomanov strutted his skills as he made Izzeddine al Derbani submit within the first round in a chokehold.
Meanwhile, Rami Hamed returned to the Brace CF event with a knockout within the first round over Salamat Orozakunov, and Abdallah Mohamed defeated Mohamed Yosif Abdulrahman.
