A woman from Balochistan, Pakistan, who journeyed to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj pilgrimage, has given birth to a healthy baby boy in Madina.
The newborn was named “Muhammad,” in honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), as he was born in the city of the Prophet.
Representatives from the Pakistani Ministry of Religious Affairs visited the new parents to extend their congratulations.
Officials stated that gifts were presented to baby Muhammad and his parents during the visit.
Abdul Wahab Soomro, a senior Pakistani Hajj official, conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to the family.
“This joyful moment will be a cherished memory for the parents, deeply connecting them to the holy city of Madinah,” he said.
This marks the second birth among Pakistani pilgrims during this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.
Previously, on June 16, a Pakistani pilgrim gave birth to a baby boy at Jabalur Rahma Hospital on Mount Arafat, marking the first birth in that location for the year.
