LAHORE: The first one-day cricket match between Pakistan and Australia is being played at Gaddafi Stadium today.
Zahid Muhammad and Muhammad Wasim Jr. have joined the national team for the first time. Captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited the visiting team to bat first. According to the details, the Pakistani team lost its Test series to the Australian players after which a series consisting of 3 ODI matches is being played. The first match of the series is being played today at Gaddafi Stadium. Zahid Mohammad and Mohammad Wasim Jr. will play their first match.
On the other hand, the famous fast bowler of the national team Shaheen Shah Afridi has not been included in the team who will rest today. Muhammad Wasim Jr. is a right-handed batsman and is a medium pace bowler while Zahid is a league spin bowler.
The second ODI between Pakistan and Australia will be played on March 31, while the third, final, and decisive match will be played on April 2, followed by a T20 match between the two teams. Both teams started the game to win the series.
