ISLAMABAD: The federal government has unveiled plans to establish a comprehensive online education portal aimed at supporting students nationwide.
Upon its launch, the online education portal will function as a centralized platform housing educational materials, virtual classrooms, and various other learning aids, thereby revolutionizing the educational landscape in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assigned the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (IT and Telecom) with the responsibility of developing this portal, emphasizing the necessity for a robust virtual learning environment.
The envisioned portal seeks to offer students easy access to a diverse array of educational resources, thereby facilitating their academic advancement irrespective of geographical barriers. Through the utilization of technology, the federal government aims to narrow educational disparities and enrich learning prospects for all students.
In a collaborative endeavor, the Ministry of IT and Telecom will join forces with the Federal Ministry of Education to bring the portal to fruition. The government has set an ambitious timeline, envisioning the completion of the project within a month.
The Ministry of IT has officially relayed this directive to the Federal Ministry of Education, ensuring synchronized efforts toward this endeavor.
