KARACHI: At least 79 people have died in Pakistan due to the global epidemic coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
The total number of deaths due to coronavirus across the country has risen to 26,114. According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 3,980 corona cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours.

The total number of coronavirus cases across the country has reached 1,175,558. According to the NCOC, 64,053 coronavirus tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the rate of virus-positive cases was 6.21 percent.
Earlier, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) imposed other restrictions, including inter-city transport, indoor and outdoor events, in cities with a high prevalence of the virus to prevent coronavirus.
The NCOC, led by Federal Minister Asad Umar, briefed Prime Minister Imran Khan. The NCOC informed the prime minister that inter-city transport and all indoor and outdoor activities are banned in the cities where the epidemic is spreading.
