KARACHI: At least 74 more people have died in Pakistan due to the global epidemic coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to the virus across the country has risen to 24,713.
According to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 4,373 coronavirus cases were reported across the country in the last 24 hours. The total number of virus cases across the country has risen to 1,113,647.
According to the NCOC, 55,634 coronavirus tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the rate of the virus-positive cases was 7.86 percent. The number of cases of COVID-19 in Sindh is 416,230, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 154,606, in Punjab 376,252, in Islamabad 95,196, in Balochistan 31,726, in Azad Kashmir 30,111 and Gilgit-Baltistan has reached 9,526.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 154,606 people were affected and 4,714 died from corona, while 31,726 cases and 335 deaths were reported in Balochistan. In Islamabad, 95,196 people were affected by corona while 839 died.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, 9,526 people were affected by corona and 169 died. In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 30,111 cases and 672 deaths were reported. Across the country, the death rate from corona was 2.2 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 2,977 cases of the virus have infected the corona across the country, bringing the number of healthy people to 999,403 while the number of active cases across the country has risen to 89,531.
