ISLAMABAD; At least 67 more people have died in Pakistan due to the global coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths due to the virus across the country rose to 24,406.
In the last 24 hours, 3,711 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country, according to the latest figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC). The total number of COVID-19 cases across the country reached 1,094,699.
According to the NCOC, 59,136 coronavirus tests were performed in the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the rate of the virus’ positive cases was 8.09 percent. The number of cases of coronavirus in Sindh is 49,578, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 151,466, in Punjab 370,599, in Islamabad 93,339, in Balochistan 31,507, in Azad Kashmir 28,982 and Gilgit-Baltistan has reached 9,228.

The highest number of deaths due to coronavirus was in Punjab where 11,329 people lost their lives while 6,384 in Sindh, 4,640 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 830 in Islamabad, 162 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 332 in Balochistan, and 662 in Azad Kashmir.
A confirmation tweet has also been issued from the NCOC’s official Twitter account in this regard. A tweet was also released from NADRA’s official Twitter handle yesterday stating that NADRA’s new mobile app Code 19 Pass has been launched to verify the vaccination certificate.
