ISLAMABAD: At least 663 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Pakistan while 11 more civilians have died of the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to figures released by the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), a total of 1,265,047 people were infected with coronavirus across the country, while 28,280 civilians lost their lives to the virus.
During the last 24 hours, 39,902 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus, bringing the total number of tests to 22,35,921. Nationwide, the coronavirus test result was 1.66%. The condition of 1,913 coronavirus patients across the country is critical. In Punjab, 437,974 people were infected with the virus while 12,849 died. In Sindh, 465,819 virus cases and 7,530 deaths were reported.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,76,886 people were affected by a coronavirus and 5,686 died. In Balochistan, 33,128 cases and 352 deaths were reported. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,369 people were infected with the virus while 186 died.
In Azad Kashmir, 34,402 people were affected by the virus while 740 lost their lives. In Islamabad, the virus-infected 16,469 people and killed 937. The number of active cases of coronavirus across the country has risen to 25,870.
In the last 24 hours, 1,019 coronavirus patients across the country have succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of healthy people to 1,210,897. The death rate in the last one day was 2.2 percent.
