ISLAMABAD: Around 693 cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country, while 2 more citizens died due to the virus.
According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health, a total of 15,49,766 people have been affected by coronavirus, while 30 thousand 464 have died due to the virus. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.

In the last day, 23,432 tests were conducted for the diagnosis of coronavirus, while the ratio of positive cases was 2.96 percent. The total number of tests has reached 2 crore 965 thousand 160 while 592 patients of coronavirus are in intensive care.
On the other hand, in Balochistan, the epidemic spread in 17 districts due to monsoon rains and flooded rails. 11 people died due to diarrhea and cholera.

After the recent monsoon rains in Balochistan, stomach and intestinal diseases spread in different areas. Within ten days, 11 people lost their lives due to diarrhea and cholera. Nine people died of diarrhea in Zhob and two died of cholera in Khuzdar.
It should be noted that earlier during the monsoon rains, more than 90 people died due to various accidents in Balochistan. 10 districts of the province have been declared disaster-prone.
