ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported one death in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of confirmed positive cases has surged to 1,572,269. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 30,612 on Saturday.
According to the latest figures by the National Institute of Health (NIH), at least 67 persons were tested positive for COVID-19 across the country in the past 24 hours.
Pakistan has conducted 16,791 tests in the past 24 hours while the COVID Positivity Ratio was recorded at 0.40 percent.

Meanwhile, 75 patients were in critical condition.
A total of over 1.5 million Covid-19 cases have so far been reported in Pakistan, while 30,608 people had died since the beginning of pandemic.
