ISLAMABAD: Around 513 new cases of coronavirus and 8 deaths have been recorded in Pakistan, taking the number of confirmed cases to 290,169.
The total number of deaths from the coronavirus across the country has risen to 6,201, The active number of coronavirus cases in the country is 11,945 and so far 272,128 people have recovered from the virus.
At least 126,743 cases of coronavirus cases were reported in Sindh, 95,742 in Punjab, 35,401 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 12,370 in Balochistan, 15,370 in Islamabad, 2,212 in Jammu Azad Kashmir and 2,565 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

There have been 2,343 deaths from the coronavirus in Sindh and 2,186 in Punjab, 1,242 inKhyber Pakhtunkhwa, 175 in Islamabad, 139 in Balochistan, 63 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 61 in Azad Kashmir.
There are 130 patients on a ventilator in hospitals across the country. The number of ventilators in hospitals is 1,920. There are facilities for coronavirus patients in 735 hospitals across the country and currently, 1,241 patients are admitted to the hospitals.
Coronavirus testing capacity in the country has exceeded 60,000 per day and 132 testing laboratories are working. Trace, test, and quarantine strategies are working effectively in 30 cities.
Pakistan has removed nearly all of its restrictions as part of a partial lockdown last week. Restaurants, cinemas, and gyms have been reopened but educational institutions and wedding venues will remain closed until 15th September.
