ISLAMABAD: Around 48 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country, with no deaths reported due to the virus in the last 24 hours, but the condition of 75 patients is critical.
According to figures released by the National Institutes of Health, a total of 1,530,333 people were infected with the coronavirus, and 30,379 died of the virus across the country. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.
On the last day, 12,866 tests were performed to diagnose coronavirus while the percentage of positive cases was 0.37 percent. The number of tests has increased to 28.581 million while 75 patients of coronavirus are in intensive care.

In the last 24 hours, 93 patients with coronavirus have been cured across the country, bringing the total number of those who have contracted the virus to 1,496,575. coronavirus’ active cases rose to 3,379.
At least 577,517 cases were reported in Sindh, 57,157 in Punjab, 219,681 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 135,396 in Islamabad, 35,501 in Balochistan, 43,332 in Azad Kashmir, and 11,749 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In Punjab, 13,564 people died due to coronavirus. 8,106 civilians were killed in Sindh, 6,324 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,024 in Islamabad, 792 in Azad Kashmir, 378 in Balochistan, and 191 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
