RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan-Morocco Bilateral Joint Exercise 2021 concluded on Saturday in which the special forces of both countries participated.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the closing ceremony was held at National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi, a town in Nowshera District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the exercise, Special Forces of Morocco and Pakistan practiced various drills involved in counter-terrorism operations including cordon and search, compound clearance, close quarter battle, fast roping, rappelling and combat medics.
“This is the first-ever joint exercise between the two countries,” it added. The training was aimed at sharing mutual experience in counter terrorism domain, rehearsing and adopting best practices and enhancing cooperation between the two armies.

According to ISPR, the closing Ceremony of Exercise Druzhba-VI was held at Molkino Training Area, Krasnodar, Russia, which featured a weapons and equipment display parade and was attended by senior officials from Russia and Pakistan.
The two weeks long exercise (28 September to 9 October) was aimed at learning from mutual experience in Counter Terrorism domain with a view to learn and adopt best practices.
Pakistan, Russia special forces join hands for counter-terrorism exercise ‘Druzhba VI’ The special forces of Pakistan and the Russian Federation had joined hands for the two-week exercise.
The opening ceremony was held in Krasnodar on September 28. National anthems of Pakistan and Russia were played during the opening ceremony, which was followed by the weapons and equipment display parade. Mayor of Garyachi Kaluch Sergy Belopolsky attended the opening ceremony as the chief guest.
