MAKKAH: Pakistan Hajj Mission has finalized arrangements Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat to guide and assist Pakistani pilgrims during the spiritual journey.
The five-day Hajj rituals commence from Monday .Saudi authorities have divided Mina in 10 zones. Hajj pilgrims will be transported to the Mina tent village on the night between Sunday and Monday in buses.
Many pilgirms prefer to follow the tradition of Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and embark on the pilgrimage by foot to Mina, a narrow valley surrounded by rocky mountains, some five kilometres (three miles) from the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
In this regard, Pakistan Hajj Mission has deployed ‘Moavineen-e-Hujjaj’ in Mina, equipped with maps to guide pilgrims to Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat. The guiding posts have already been established in Mina and Jamarat.
The mission has set up two camp offices in Mina to provide continuous assistance to pilgrims. These services includes different departments like lost and found, guidance, complaints, and a monitoring desk, ensuring 24/7 support for the pilgrims.
A shuttle train service will be available to transport 63 percent of the pilgrims during Hajj days, while the remaining will be transported to Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah in buses. The tents allocated for Pakistani pilgrims are located in close proximity to road numbers 50, 62, and 64.
A total of 157,000 Pakistani pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for Hajj, including 81,000 participants under the government scheme and 76,000 through the private scheme.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Senator Talha Mehmood, will join ordinary prospective pilgrims in performing Hajj. During his visit to various buildings housing Pakistani Hajj pilgrims, the minister personally addressed their concerns and gave instructions to resolve them.
He generously distributed gifts among Pakistani pilgrims. The exceptional arrangements for Hajj received praise from the pilgrims. The minister assured to address any issues faced by the pilgrims.
He urged private Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs) to provide the best possible facilities to Pakistani pilgrims and warned of strict action in cases of violation of the agreement signed with the pilgrims.
