ISLAMABAD: Floods have caused heavy loss of life and property across the country, so far 1136 people have died and more than 1600 have been injured and more than 51 thousand have been rescued.
According to the details, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has released a report on the damage caused by floods across the country. Around 75 more people died in the last 24 hours. The total number of deaths rose to 1136.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority, 51,275 people were rescued after being trapped in the flood rails, out of which 1634 were injured. 162 bridges were damaged while 72 districts were badly affected by the floods.

Floods destroyed more than 10,51000 houses across the country. In total, more than 3,304,6000 people were directly affected by the flood. According to NDMA, more than 735 cattle died due to floods.
Situation of rivers and barrages
The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) says more flooding is expected in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Leh. A very high level of flood occurred in the Kabul river, but the flow of water remained low.
According to IRSA, the water level in the Kabul River is 258,300 cusecs, while the flow of water in the Indus River has also increased in addition to the Taunsa Barrage. The Indus River has a very high flood level.

A train of 5,58,000 cusec passed through the Taunsa barrage yesterday. More flooding may occur in Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, and Leh, while Gaddu and Sukkur barrages are also under high flood levels. The flow of water at both barrages is more than 500,000 cusecs.
