KARACHI: The Pakistan Embassy in Washington DC has been closed for three days from today until Wednesday as its staff members contracted the COVID-19.
According to an official statement, the embassy has been closed due to the probability of exposure to novel coronavirus on its premises. Pakistan Embassy, DC, turned to Twitter and announced the closure.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are closing the Embassy including the consular section for three days 4-6 January 2021,” the embassy stated. Moreover, online services for visa and passport renewal and mail-in visa services will be available however, all consular services will remain suspended during this period.
