Pakistani officials have strongly rejected Indian media reports alleging that Pakistan carried out airstrikes in Indian-occupied Jammu & Kashmir and Amritsar, labeling them as false, baseless, and deliberate propaganda.
According to security sources, the reports being circulated by Indian media about explosions in Jammu and air raid sirens in the region are completely untrue.
“These are fabricated stories aimed at falsely implicating Pakistan in acts of aggression,” said the sources.
Officials further stated that such disinformation campaigns are being used by India to justify its own hostile actions and to manipulate public opinion.
“Indian media’s repeated claims about Pakistani F-16 jets being shot down are entirely false and misleading,” the sources added.
It was also noted that similar false reports were aired a day earlier regarding alleged Pakistani attacks on Amritsar, which were also found to be without any evidence.
Pakistani authorities have urged international media and organizations to critically evaluate such disinformation tactics and to refrain from echoing unverified propaganda narratives.
