Pakistan cricket team to visit New Zealand in December 2020

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the Pakistan cricket team will visit New Zealand in December 2020. 

According to the international media, the two Tests and three T20 matches will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand. Despite the coronavirus, an international cricket series will be held.

According to Chief Executive Officer New Zealand Cricket, New Zealand has a series scheduled with Pakistan, Australia, Bangladesh, and West Indies.

Arrangements are being made for the isolation of international teams. Earlier, the Asia Cricket Cup was postponed due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The Asian Cricket Council earlier said that the Asia Cricket Cup had to be postponed due to coronavirus till June 2021. The Asian Cricket Council had said in a statement that Sri Lanka would host the Asia Cup in June 2021 instead of Pakistan.

The Asian Cricket Council said that Pakistan Cricket Board will host the Asia Cup 2022. The PCB has given the right to host the Asia Cup to Sri Lanka.

It may be recalled that earlier the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had made a conditional offer to Sri Lanka to host the Asia Cup 2020.

As per details, due to the coronavirus epidemic, the PCB had made a conditional offer to the Sri Lankan board to host the Asia Cup this year.
