The Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) has partnered with Pakistan’s University of Lahore to launch a fellowship program for Bangladeshi students and scholars, APP reported on Sunday.
This initiative highlights a shared commitment to promoting talent, innovation, and academic collaboration among OIC member states. The fellowship program aims to provide exceptional opportunities for Bangladeshi students and researchers to pursue advanced education and conduct groundbreaking research in diverse fields, including allied health sciences, engineering and technology, pharmacy, management sciences, social sciences, and the humanities.
In addition to academic pursuits, the program offers specialized training for technical personnel working in science, technology, and engineering laboratories.
Open to Bangladeshi nationals aged 22 to 45 residing anywhere in the world, the program targets individuals with outstanding academic records and a proven dedication to community development. Benefits include a tuition fee waiver, round-trip airfare, a monthly honorarium, and free accommodation.
Interested candidates can apply through the official websites of COMSTECH and the University of Lahore. The application deadline is March 1, 2025.
